Park Jin Young JYP - She Was Pre: A Tribute To His First Crush

With pre-orders launching on August 26, Jinyoung released his first solo photobook titled 'Hey, Guys', featuring content shot in Jeju Island. The photobook also came with a 36-minutes making film of behind-the-scenes content.[8]

Park Jin Young JYP - She Was Pre

He was cast as a lead actor on tvN drama When My Love Blooms. The drama alternates between the older and younger self of its two main characters; Jinyoung played the younger counterpart of the male lead.[9] The first episode premiered in April[10] and the last episode was broadcasted on June 14.[9]

At the beginning of June, the first teasers for 'Hear, Here' were released. The project was soon after revealed to be a second solo photobook, with photos taken in Taipei, and it came with a making film as well. It was closely followed by an online fan meeting titled "Park Jinyoung 2020 Fan Meeting: Hear, Here" that took place on July 19.[10]

On November 17, 2022, BH Entertainment announced that Jinyoung will be releasing a new album and holding a fan meeting in January 2023.[17] On January 6, a teaser image was released, confirming that his first mini album, Chapter 0: With, will be released on January 18.[18]

"We're trying to figure out the next stage ... We can't just keep sending over Korean stars forever, we need to find the next thing. Now, I want to build with foreign talent and create something with young talented kids from Japan and China," he told CNBC.

"We've developed a system. Companies like ours have an academy, a sort of training system, to find young, talented kids and pull out the best in them. It started off organic, but we systematized it."

She hasn't been herself for years. TWICE debuted in October 2015, after an arduous five-month competition process brought together nine girls from South Korea, Japan, and Tainan for all to see on a reality show called Sixteen. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu beat out seven other trainees to be in the group. All were from JYP Entertainment (JYP), one of Korea's most prominent entertainment companies, and took part in intense practice days for performances judged by the JYP of JYP, Park Jin Young, the company's founder (and an idol himself).

Her charges include Mina, the Texas-born, Japan-raised group member. Her voice lilts like a Disney princess's, but she's far from timid with her words. There's Tzuyu, the youngest, who was added to the group by popular demand. There's Jeongyeon, who would go onstage bare-faced if you gave her the chance. (I can see my reflection on the apples of her cheeks.)

The exclusive contract between GOT7 and JYP Entertainment will end in January 2021, so the members leaving or re-signing the contract is noticed. After the news that Jinyoung and Yugyeom discussed with the new agencies, although JYP announced that they were still negotiating with the group, the latest move between GOT7 members and Park Jin Young made many people believe that they will leave JYP

On July 1, 2001 Park Jin Young, the founder and CEO of JYP Entertainment, held an open audition called the Talent & Live Voice Project 99% Competition in order to find talented young females that would be trained for his planned idea to create his first girl group. Wonder Girls, a documentary program filmed and aired on MTV Korea, revealed the name of Park Jin Young's girl group as the Wonder Girls on May 22, 2006. The program introduced the four members of the Wonder Girls which were Sun Ye, So Hee, Hyun A, and Sunmi. Ye Eun was later recruited as the fifth member of the group and not long after her addition, Wonder Girls official debut was held at Show! Music Core where they performed their hip-hop song "Irony" on February 10, 2007.

Their second single "So Hot" was released June 3rd, 2008 and it was another hit for the group. In mid 2008, they performed on Music Core, performing "So Hot" and "This Time". Due to a vocal cord injury, Yubin temporarily lip-synched her parts under doctor's orders. After a very short break, they made a comeback with their first mini-album The Wonder Years - Trilogy. They performed the song "Nobody" the following weekend on Music Core, Music Bank and Inkigayo. The song quickly went to No. 1 on Music Bank, staying there for four consecutive weeks, and also won Cyworld's Song of the Month award in September and October 2008. Just like "Tell Me", "Nobody" also sparked a dance craze. At the 2008 Mnet KM Music Festival Awards, the Wonder Girls received three awards: the "Song of the Year" award, "Best Music Video" for "Nobody" and "Best Female Group". They also won an award at the 2008 Golden Disk Awards a month later for high digital sales. At the 18th Seoul Music Awards, the Wonder Girls won the Daesang award ("Artist of the Year"), the highest award offered, for "Nobody", and two other awards. They were also selected as a top girl group by Virgin Media. 2ff7e9595c
